In the third quarter of 2024, the Film & Television app category on the Android platform in Ecuador showcased dynamic trends. According to Sensor Tower data, the top apps exhibited varying patterns in downloads, revenue, and active users.

DramaBox - Stream Drama Shorts from STORYMATRIX saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $3.1K in late August. Downloads fluctuated throughout the quarter, with a high of 79.3K in early July before tapering off to 23.1K by the end of September. Active users showed a similar pattern, starting at 67.8K, spiking to over 114K in mid-August, and closing the quarter at 74.8K.

Pluto TV: Watch Free Movies/TV maintained a consistent download rate, reaching a peak of 27.1K in mid-September. Active user numbers were robust, beginning the quarter at 108K and peaking at 126K by the end of September.

The app experienced a dramatic increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter, reaching 64.8K in mid-September. Active users also increased, peaking at 101K in mid-September before ending the quarter at 74.1K.
